Thanks Aleksandar for the reply, To try and further understand the interval value what I did was create a profile of the left rail shown on the top and than created another profile but this time I projected the same left hand rail but onto the second profile shown on the bottom and set the interval to 10m for the second profile. I did this because I wanted to see how changing the interval affects the vertical profile and because both profiles represent the same rail it would be a good visual way of understanding the effect of changing the interval. I naturally assumed that Power Rail takes the first point from the start of the vertical alignment, it than moves 10m along the horizontal axis and creates the second point from the vertical alignment and moves another 10m along the horizontal axis and creates the third point etc - I have tried to show my thinking by drawing 10m lines across the x axis and where the 10m interval stops that is where the vertical points are created from but this is incorrect. So clearly my logic is incorrect. Can you explain why this is incorrect also you mentioned Chord Height I was wondering what and how the chord height relates to how the vertical points are generated.
