I understand your point. Frankly I am often frustrated about the level of imperfection of the RailTrack tools and of their insufficiently documented features. 1 - No Help documentation is provided for this. Yes, the Bentley guys here might ask us to raise a request for this but I think it is normal for such an important commercial design software to provide proper documentation through the Help file. 2 - The preferences are taken from the "Default" setting of the Annotate Profile preferences (see the attached image) This is the reason why, as I mentioned earlier, before using the tool I'm setting as "Default" in the Annotate Profile preferences the one I want to use for Multiple Annotation. (Step1) After this setup I'm opening the Annotate Profile Multiple and using Ctrl I'm selecting the alignments I want to annotate together (step 2). The info displayed in the picture is the one I have now as Default in the Annotate Profile preferences. I think that answers your third issue. The tool is very rigid - does not allow selection of different annotation styles per alignment - a basic feature in other modern Railway track design software.
